Working With You

Elcern Consulting aims to provide the most in-depth insights on the dynamic data centre sector.

Elcern delivers client advisory work through our standardised life cycle framework, the Elcern Data Lifecycle Model (EDLM).

Our EDLM enables us to provide advice to clients on data centre project structure, governance, performance, risks and templates for all the key stages of a facility’s lifecycle.

Please note: Elcern is not resourced for, and does not create end to end designs.

EDL extract (folder view)

Elcern tracks data centre developments from many of the major developers, funders, owners, builders, suppliers and operators. This is compiled into our proprietary Elcern Data Lake (EDL).

And, with UK data centres now classified as nationally critical digital infrastructure, we further feed the EDL to maintain views on key risks such as electricity supply, land availability, skills gaps as well as resilience and security.

Using our EDL, we can support clients with benchmarks and market insights. We also use our EDL to create Data Centre Insights, and Data Centre Briefs to help our social media followers stay up to date on the industry’s most important news.

We develop assessments of national, regional, city and business campus markets, to support clients considering new data centre strategies.

Whether it be decisions on data centre location, customer options, local government interactions, local financing availability, energy integrations or sustainability approaches, we can develop a breadth of views to best support the needs of our clients.
